As the Russians invaded Ukraine last February, Rebuild Ukraine, a Minnesota non-profit, sprang into action, providing immediate humanitarian aid to Ukrainian defenders, refugees, and children. Learn how Rebuild Ukraine is delivering urgently needed food, medical supplies, and protective gear and restoring hope for the future through educational programs for children. Dr. Paul Gavrilyuk, president and founder of Rebuild Ukraine, is the Aquinas Chair in Theology and Philosophy at the University of St. Thomas. An internationally respected public speaker, he has five years of experience in the non-profit sphere and is the founding president of the International Orthodox Theological Association. He was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and came to the US in 1993. His elderly parents, who fled from Kyiv in February 2022, are now refugees in Lithuania.
