The United Reformed Church General Assembly agreed in 2016 to deepen its understanding of the Israel/Palestine conflict, particularly as it affects their indigenous Christian partners in the region.
A group pf 22 members and staff journeyed to the Holy Land. Among the many people they met, special mention should be made of Revd Dr Munther Isaac, whose lecture recored here was quite outstanding.
Munther was born in Beit Sahour, Palestine. He is married with two children. Hi insight into the theological and practical plight of Palestinians is unparalleled.
In addition to being an ordained minister of the Lutheran Church, Munther serves as an Assistant Pastor at Christmas Evangelical Lutheran Church Bethlehem. Munther is also Dean of academic studies at the Bethlehem Bible College.
Munther has a BS in Civil Engineering from Birzeit University, Palestine; an MA in Religion-Biblical Studies, Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, USA, and his PhD Area of Study is in A Biblical Theology of the Promised Land, Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, Oxford, UK.
