You Tube Theology

This is a faculty paper by Dr. Glenn Butner, titled "A Good and Necessary Consequence: Paths from Scripture to the Doctrine of the Trinity," for the 2020/21 Sterling College (KS) annual Theology and Ministry Department Conference.

Each year, the Theology and Ministry Department hosts a conference to showcase Sterling College faculty scholarship and to host a noted scholar from another institution, who presents a plenary address and engages students in campus. This year's conference was held remotely by Zoom because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Glenn Butner (PhD, Marquette University) is Assistant Professor of Theology and Christian Ministry at Sterling College. He has written extensively on the doctrine of the Trinity, including two books: "The Son who Learned Obedience" (Pickwick, 2018) and "Trinitarian Dogmatics" (Baker Academic, forthcoming 2022). He has also published journal articles on the Trinity in Modern Theology and the International Journal of Systematic Theology.
