A significant number of people believe that human life begins at conception, but this does not necessarily mean they are opposed to abortion. The first debate in the 2013 series was chaired by Prof Linda Woodhead with a panel including Prof John Harris, Revd Dr Gerard Hughes, Dr David Albert Jones and Dr Abdul Majid Katme.
