Various scholars have proposed ways to explain this, suggesting that God may have guided the process more indirectly—either by shaping the circumstances in which the authors wrote or influencing their thoughts—while still allowing full human freedom and personality. Some parts of scripture may reflect more direct divine input, but much of it appears to be a blend of divine influence and human authorship
