Stephen Backhouse, Ph.D. is the founding director of Tent Theology (https://www.tenttheology.com/). He is a theologian, church historian, and an expert of Søren Kierkegaard. He is also the author of many books, including "Kierkegaard: A Single Life" (Zondervan, 2016), "The Compact Guide to Christian History" (Lion Books, 2011), and the book discussed in this interview, "Zondervan Essential Companion to Christian History" (Zondervan Academic, 2019).
