You Tube Theology

We live in a world where some of our most powerful pictures of what it means to be human ultimately dehumanize large segments of society: those who not only do not fit this picture of the ideal human person, but cannot do so. We end up with a picture of humanity where many are pushed to the borders, in danger of being excluded altogether. The biblical view of humans as made in the image of God suggests a different picture entirely. Without downplaying the very real differences that make us unique individuals or the powerful consequences of sin that ravage our world, the image of God forces us to appreciate the value of every human person as we view him or her through the lens provided by the only true image: Jesus Christ.
