James Alison is a Catholic theologian, priest and author. His principal claim to fame is as one of those who has done most to bring the work of the great French thinker Ren Girard to a wider public. In addition, he is known for his firm but patient insistence on truthfulness in matters gay as an ordinary part of basic Christianity, and for his pastoral outreach in the same sphere. 0:00:00 - Introduction 0:00:19 - Welcome Remarks from Brian Robinette 0:06:49 - Welcome James Alison 0:56:37 - Q&A 1:15:00 - Closing Remarks Discover more from our Partner Here: https://www.bc.edu/ GBH Forum Network ~ Free online lectures: Explore a world of ideas Like us:https://www.facebook.com/gbhforumnetwork/ Tweet with us: https://twitter.com/GBHForumNetwork See our complete archive here: http://forum-network.org
