It takes very little reflection to see that we aren't designed for hooking up. Then what are we designed for? We have a biological and an intellectual design; what is our sexual design? For starters, what is sex for, and what does it mean? Professor Budziszewski explains that the human sexual design has inbuilt purposes and meanings, which are the basis for the natural laws of sex; Our hearts and our bodies are designed to work together. The talk first presents the big picture of the meaning of sex; and second, offers concrete suggestions for personal conversations about its meaning with peers who may never have considered the matter. Experience shows that such conversations will in turn deepen your own understanding of sexuality.
