In this interview segment, American theologian Stanley Hauerwas discusses the Umbrella Movement, which leads him into putting forward a model for how Christians should engage in the public square. Hauerwas says that the important thing is that Christians engage in the public square AS Christians, avoiding any unhealthy dualism between private and public sphere, and acknowledging that the presence of Christ has reached into the public square before we got there.
