In this episode Dr. Clark continues his series on the Canons of Dort where we are looking at the Third and Fourth Heads of Doctrine of the Canons of Dort, specifically examining regeneration in preparation for the Fifth Head of Doctrine which is on apostasy and the perseverance of the saints. W. Robert Godfrey refers to the Canons of the Synod of Dort as “eminently pastoral” but not purely technical. Clark explains how the Reformation background—only about 100 years old when these were written—sets the stage for the Canons of Dort and the issues they address.
