Josephus Knew the Witnesses of the Crucifixion!!

By analyzing the specific Greek idioms Josephus uses to denote personal acquaintance ("among us") and reconstructing the whereabouts of the Jerusalem priesthood in 30 AD, we get that Josephus’s own father was likely on duty in the Temple the very weekend Jesus was executed.
If Josephus’s father was a 25-year-old serving priest during that specific Passover, he wouldn't just have been a bystander.
He would have been at the epicenter of the religious upheaval caused by the trial and crucifixion.
This suggests that Josephus’s knowledge of Jesus wasn't derived from distant rumors, but potentially from the private, unrecorded memories of his own father, making his writings the closest thing we have to a secular "family memoir" of the Passion week.
