What Defines SIN Understanding Relationships and God's Character

What is sin? Traditionally, it means "to miss the mark." In Genesis, the tree of knowledge symbolizes God’s guidance on right and wrong. Sin is anything contrary to God’s loving and gracious character. It breaks our relationship with Him. I find it helpful to use relational concepts to understand sin and its impact on our lives.
