Dr. Robert A.J. Gagnon, Associate Professor of New Testament, Pittsburg Theological Seminary, and author of Homosexuality and the Bible: Two Views (co-author) and The Bible and Homosexual Practice: Texts and Hermeneutics. Official website: www.robgagnon.net. Questions: 1. What challenges does the cultural shift of homosexual practice present for the post-modern Christian leader? 2. You have written a couple academic books on this topic. Are there one or two books that you would recommend that Christian leaders read concerning this area of focus? 3. Oftentimes Christian leaders wear several hats. How would you speak to the Christian leader (the same person in these different scenarios) who is 1.) a pastor where this topic has infiltrated and caused division in their congregation, 2.) has a friend who has homosexual tendencies, and 3.) has a child who has befriended a classmate who identifies as gay? 4. How does our distorted views of love and fear play into the discussions of homosexuality? (I didn't write this one down completely. You have the exact wording on the video, but this is pretty close.) 5. Is there a "best way" to approach someone with a strong personality or activist of same-sex marriage who may have behavior that can be perceived as hostile in nature or is it simply based on their experiences? http://www.gordonconwellstore.org/servlet/the-235/Reach%2C-Respect%2C-Respond-cln--A/Detail
