This is Part One of a 6-part series given by Fr. Frank Matera on the Spirituality of St. Paul.

The theme of the series is imitating Paul in order to follow Christ.

It's a bold invitation. Why not simply follow Jesus (because Jesus calls us in the Gospels to follow him)? Paul says, however, that it is no longer possible to follow Jesus in the manner in which he was talking, so to follow Jesus, people need a model of someone who has appropriated the model of Jesus' paschal myster in his own life.
