October 24, 2017 Charles Camosy, associate professor of theological ethics at Fordham University, gives a talk at the College of the Holy Cross on "Beyond the Abortion Wars: Finding a Way Forward in a Time of Polarization." Camosy argues that binary positions on abortion hide more than they reveal, and that most Americans' beliefs fall along a spectrum where it is possible to find common ground. He is author of "Beyond the Abortion Wars: A Way Forward for a New Generation" (Eerdmans, 2015). His talk is one of the Deitchman Family Lectures on Religion and Modernity, sponsored by the Rev. Michael C. McFarland, S.J. Center for Religion, Ethics and Culture at Holy Cross. Learn more at http://www.holycross.edu/mcfarlandcenter.
