Why do we have so many translations of the Bible? In many places, especially the Old Testament, they differ so much with each other that I am not sure I can trust them. Why can’t they agree, and why can’t we just go back to one Bible, the King James? And don’t the translators interject their own biases and theological positions? Aren’t publishers just out to make money?
