During the sixteenth century, the Protestant Reformers appealed to Scripture alone (sola Scriptura). They recognized that all Scripture is God-breathed. It is the Word of the living God. Scripture is therefore infallible and inerrant and our only rule of faith and practice. In this lecture, Carl Trueman explains how the Word of God is truth and as such, our standard.
