The Bioethics Institute of Loyola Marymount University presents an evening lecture on UNIVERSITY ETHICS by world-renowned Catholic ethicist James Keenan, S.J., on Thursday, October 27 at 6 PM in Ahmanson Auditorium (University Hall 1000). The university, like the church, has long been in the business of teaching ethics. It has not always believed it needed to practice what it taught. In his presentation, James Keenan, S.J. asks whether the university as an institution is willing to develop the context, climate, and structures to promote a culture of ethics. Respondents take up a series of ethical topics with immediate implications for LMU students, staff, and faculty.
