Beware of deceptive marketing that tells you formal equivalent translations of the Bible reflect the underlying Greek structure. They do not, consistently. Sometimes they do; sometimes they don't. Greek and English are just too different. Here is an example using the issue of how to convey a series. By the way, at one point it sounds like I am calling the CBS a formal equivalent translation. I did not mean to imply that.
