The Rev. Dr. Willie James Jennings joins us to speak in Chapel at at the 4th Andrews Guest Speaker in Christian Unity. Dr. Jennings currently serves as Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and Africana Studies at Yale University Divinity School. He also authored, The Christian Imagination: Theology and the Origins of Race. He is the recipient of the 2015 Grawemeyer Award in Religion for his groundbreaking work on race and Christianity and served with his wife, the Rev. Joanne L. Browne Jennings, as associate ministers at the Mount Level Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina.
