It wasn't just outside pressure that the early church had to face; it was also trouble from the inside. This session covers the famous and sobering story of Ananias and Sapphira. We look at why their lie was such a big deal and what it tells us about the holiness of the new community.

On the flip side, we see the incredible power of God at work, from Peter’s shadow healing people in the streets to an angel literally breaking the apostles out of prison.

We also hear from an unexpected source, a rabbi named Gamaliel, who gives some surprisingly wise advice on whether or not this movement can be stopped.
