We asked our new Professor of Divinity, Alister McGrath, what it's like to lecture. http://www.gresham.ac.uk/professors-and-speakers/professor-alister-mcgrath Professor McGrath has been workingin academia for some time now, so we thought he'd be over the nerves of a less experienced speaker. Apparently , though, those never go away, and more than that, Professor McGrath Think they make him a better lecturer. Alister McGrath is the Gresham Professor of Divinity, the Andreos Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at the University of Oxford, and one of the world's most respected theologians. http://www.gresham.ac.uk/professors-and-speakers/professor-alister-mcgrath Professor McGrath's inaugural series of six lectures discusses the "interweaving of narratives" between science and faith and how this can enrich our vision of reality. The lectures will engage topics that are of wide cultural interest at the interface of religion and science, with both a strong theological focus on the one hand, and a deep commitment to engaging issues of current debate and discussion on the other. The Series will be called 'Science, Faith, and God: The Big Questions': http://www.gresham.ac.uk/science-faith-and-god-the-big-questions Gresham College has been giving free public lectures since 1597.
