Bethlehem pastor reveals struggles of Palestinian Christians

Reverend Munther Isaac is a Palestinian pastor who has been vocal in his criticism of the West's lack of response to Israel’s Gaza genocide and ongoing occupation of Palestine. His sermon 'Christ In The Rubble' went viral and formed the basis of his book of the same name.

Being brutally honestly about his own struggle to maintain his faith after years of genocide and brutal colonialism, he famously said “If Jesus were to be born today, he would be born under the rubble in Gaza.” This Christmas, he speaks to Roundtable about the challenges and ongoing struggles facing Palestinian Christians in the birthplace of their religion.
