YouTube description

Pro-life questions will focus on the core principle of pro-life: whether there is a non-religious reason for humans to have the right to life from the point of conception onward. 1. Does human life begin at conception, or at some later point of development? 2. Does a human have a right to life from conception onward? 3. Is there a non-religious basis for granting a right to life from the point of conception? 4. Do sufficient negative consequences of birth, e.g. overpopulation, crime, bad quality of life, make killing the fetus a positive alternative? 5. Does a mother's bodily autonomy trump an unborn baby's right to life? 6. Is abortion justified in the case of rape or incest? Panelists: - Deborah McGregor (CareNet director), - Dr. Alexander Pruss (philosophy professor), - Fr. Robert Verrill (Dominican priest) and - Aine Fitzgerald (40 Days for Life organizer).
