In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Grawemeyer Awards, and in collaboration with the Black Church Studies program of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, the seminary hosted Race, Faith & Community on October 12 and 13. This event featured past Grawemeyer Award winners and prominent social activists. The Rev. Dr. Willie James Jennings, winner of the 2015 Grawemeyer Award for his book "The Christian Imagination: Theology and the Origins of Race," was among the special guests.
