"Why Care for the Earth? Ten Good Reasons," by Steven Bouma-Prediger, the second annual Religion and the Environment Lecture. Bouma-Prediger, professor of religion and director of the environmental studies program at Hope College, will present the lecture. He has written and edited several award-winning books concerning ecology and theology, including For the Beauty of the Earth, Evocations of Grace: Writings on Ecology, Theology, and Ethics, and The Greening of Theology: The Ecological Models of Rosemary Radford Ruether, Joseph Sittler, and Jurgen Moltmann.
