RFI's "Virtues in the Public Square" course is an education initiative that features the insights of two dozen scholars of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The lessons translate the classical traditions of virtue for modern audiences and model how these religious traditions can jointly contribute, in complementary ways, to the common good.
This video, exploring the virtue of temperance, features: Dr. Yonatan Brafman, Assistant Professor of Jewish Thought and Ethics, The Jewish Theological Seminary; Dr. Matthew Levering, Professor and James N. Jr. and Mary D. Perry Chair of Theology, University of St. Mary of the Lake; and Dr. Walead Mosaad, Director of Muslim Student Life at Lehigh University.
