Old Testament scholar Dr. Ingrid Faro is back for another deep dive into Genesis! This time, she talks about our needs and desires. From Genesis, she demonstrates how our needs and desires are not bad, but we must learn how to discern what is the best ‘fit’ for them. Maybe you’ve been told your whole life by the church or well-meaning (or controlling!) adults that your desires are bad, after this episode, you’ll gain a new appreciation for how God made you—and hopefully, learn to steer away from those who seek to shame you. Dr. Faro’s new book is titled “Demystifying Evil: A Biblical and Personal Exploration,” and will be released later this year from IVP.
