Ever wonder how the early church handled intellectual critics and violent mobs? In this session, we follow Paul through some of his most famous encounters. We start in Athens, where Paul goes toe-to-toe with philosophers at Mars Hill, explaining that the true God doesn't live in temples made by human hands. Then, we head to Ephesus for a wild two-year stay filled with miracles so powerful that even Paul's handkerchiefs were healing people. We also see what happens when the local economy gets disrupted by the gospel, leading to a massive riot in the city theater over the goddess Artemis. Finally, we sit in on Paul's emotional farewell to the church leaders in Miletus, where he warns them to watch out for "wolves" and encourages them to stay faithful to the message of grace.
