James Eglinton will be a plenary speaker at this year's Bavinck Centenary Conference in Brisbane.
James Eglinton is the Meldrum Senior Lecturer in Reformed Theology at the University of Edinburgh. Previously James was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Theologische Universiteit Kampen.
James is the author of Bavinck: A Critical Biography (Baker Academic, 2020), and Trinity and Organism: Towards a New Reading of Herman Bavinck’s Organic Motif (Bloomsbury, 2012). He is the editor Herman Bavinck on Preaching and Preachers (Hendrickson, 2017), co-editor of Neo-Calvinism and the French Revolution (Bloomsbury, 2017), and Associate Editor of the Journal of Reformed Theology.
James contributes regularly to The Times, The Herald, The Scotsman, Christianity Today, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Nederlands Dagblad, and BBC Alba and BBC Radio nan Gàidheal.
