Dr. James Turner Johson, Rutgers University, kicks off the Conference by presenting an overview and comparison of contemporary and classical writers in the Just War tradition, discussing, among others Michael Walzer, David Rodin and Jeff McMahan. The 2015 McCain Conference focused on Just War theory and pedagogy at the U.S. service academies, war colleges, service branches, and international schools. Over the course of the two day, an in depth examination and evaluation was undertaken by representatives from each institution.
