Dr. John Finnis, an internationally known expert in natural law theory and professor of law at the University of Notre Dame and at the University of Oxford, gave a talk titled "Equality and Life Issues: A Scorecard" at Franciscan University of Steubenville on March 26, 2011. He addressed the ontological basis for radical human equality of rights, the real differences of character and attainment that justify differences of treatment, and the threats to proper freedom, morality and religion from indiscriminate anti-discrimination policies and laws."
