Judge Calabresi was Dean and Sterling Professor at Yale Law School, where he began teaching in 1959, and is now Sterling Professor Emeritus and Professorial Lecturer in Law. He is the author of seven books, including Ideals, Beliefs, Attitudes and the Law (Syracuse University Press, 1985) and more than a hundred articles on law and related subjects. He was appointed U.S. Second Circuit Court Judge in 1994.

Professor Cathleen Kaveny, is the Darald and Juliet Libby Professor of Law and Theology at Boston College. She is a scholar who
focuses on the relationship of law, religion and morality. Her publications include Prophecy without Contempt: Religious Rhetoric
in the Public Square (Harvard University Press, 2016) and over a hundred articles and essays in journals and books specializing in law, ethics and medical ethics.
