It was a great delight to hear from Dr. Michael Ward this year at the Repairing the Ruins conference. He is the author of the best-selling and award-winning "Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of C.S. Lewis", and of "After Humanity: A Guide to C.S. Lewis’s The Abolition of Man."
In this session, Dr. Ward explores Lewis’ theological imagination and shows how the ability to make and understand different metaphors for religious experience is necessary both for a healthy spiritual life and for vibrant religious education. His talk fit well within the theme of RTR 2025: How the Medieval Tradition Can Re-enchant the Classroom.
