PANEL DISCUSSION ON SEPTEMBER 11 LANIER THEOLOGICAL LIBRARY The Lanier Theological Library is inviting scholars and patrons to a free panel discussion on Friday, September 11, from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m., in our chapel. This discussion precedes the library's evening lecture on Saturday evening by Lynn Cohick. This 90-minute session on Friday will feature a panel made up of these five participants. Lynn Cohick, Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College Ben Blackwell, Interim Dean, School of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University Todd Still, Dean and Professor of Christian Scriptures at Baylor University's Truett Theological Seminary Steve Young, Assistant Professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary Mark Lanier, J.D. trial attorney, Bible Teacher, author, and founder of the Lanier Theological Library The general theme of discussion will be the first century Jewish background of Paul's day. It will tie in with the Saturday lecture by Lynn Cohick, which is entitled: "We are the Circumcision:" Philippians 3 and the Christian Life.
