The Prince of Wales is seeking to deepen his relationship with the Church of England, according to a senior royal aide, ahead of his attendance at the installation of the new Archbishop of Canterbury later this week.
The aide said that Prince William’s commitment to the Church is “often quieter than people expect”, and therefore not always fully appreciated.
However, they stressed that those close to him regard his connection to the Church—and the sense of duty attached to it—as both longstanding and deeply personal.
