Preserved with Purpose: Why the Bible Remains Reliable!

Trust in the Bible does not depend on it being completely free of minor copying errors. Even though small mistakes may have been introduced over time, the overall message is considered reliable because of faith that God has preserved what is essential.
The distinction between stricter and more flexible views of inerrancy mainly concerns whether the original manuscripts were perfectly without error, which no longer exist. In practical terms, both views lead to the same conclusion: the current text is sufficiently accurate and trustworthy for its intended purpose.
