April 24-26, 2025 University of Fribourg (Switzerland). Matthew Levering holds the James N. Jr. and Mary D. Perry Chair of Theology at Mundelein Seminary, in Mundelein, Illinois. He is the founding co-editor of Nova et Vetera's English edition, which is now in its 23rd year. He is the author of numerous books in dogmatic, moral, and biblical theology, including most recently Engaging the Doctrine of Jesus (and Mary): A Traditional, Historical-Critical, and Mariological Christology, as well as a forthcoming volume titled Engaging the Doctrine of the Church. He co-edited two books with Gilles Emery, Aristotle in Aquinas's Theology and The Oxford Handbook of the Trinity. He translated into English Gilles Emery's The Trinity: An Introduction to Catholic Doctrine on the Triune God.
