You Tube Theology

Poet, playwright, theologian, and former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams is joined by Slant Books publisher and editor Gregory Wolfe to celebrate the publication of "Shakeshafte & Other Plays." After a brief introduction, a video clip from the title play, made by professional actors, provides a taste of the book. Then Williams and Wolfe engage in a wide-ranging discussion of topics that arise in the plays collected in this book, including Shakespeare, David Jones, Lazarus, and the relationship between faith and imagination. The event concludes with a series of questions from the audience.
