Fr. Brock has made important contributions in the area of
Thomistic philosophy, especially in the area of
Metaphysics. Fr. Brock is Professor of Medieval
Philosophy and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of
Philosophy at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross
in Rome, Italy. He is an Ordinary Member of the
Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas and is the
author of Action & Conduct: Thomas Aquinas and the
Theory of Action (T&T Clark, 1998). His recent book, The
Philosophy of Saint Thomas Aquinas: A Sketch, was
published in 2015 by Cascade Books. He has published
over forty articles in scholarly journals such as
International Philosophical Quarterly, The Thomist, Nova
et Vetera, Acta Philosophica and The Review of
Metaphysics.
