Originally streamed live on Good Friday—and now shared with all of you—this special took me into the West Bank, where I sat down face-to-face with people living this reality every single day. I didn’t go there for headlines or talking points. I went to listen.

In this special I’m joined by Alice Kisiya, a community member sharing her lived experience navigating daily life under ongoing tension; Reverend Isaac Munther, a Christian leader offering spiritual and pastoral perspective from within the region; Father Bashar Fawadleh, a local priest speaking to the role of faith, resilience, and service in times of hardship; and Shireen Awwad Hilal, Director of Bethlehem Bible College Community & Outreach, who brings insight into both community needs and the broader human impact on families in the region.

You’ll hear directly from voices that don’t often make it into the broader conversation—people navigating fear, loss, faith, and resilience in the middle of it all. These aren’t abstract issues; they’re deeply personal stories from families and communities trying to hold on to their humanity.

My goal here is simple: to bring you closer to the truth on the ground, beyond the noise, and to let people speak for themselves.
