Dr. Craig Evans debate with Rabbi Tovia Singer, "Is Jesus the Promised Jewish Messiah?" Recorded at the campus of one of the many prestige Christian universities, Houston Baptist University on November 8, 2014.

Craig Evans has authored over 70 authoritative Christian apologetic books and over 600 Christian journals. He is a highly esteemed Christian biblical scholar, specializing in the New Testament. Rabbi Tovia Singer has had the chance to debate him in Houston, Texas, with Christian students and Jews in the live audience.

The debate starts with Craig Evans giving his opening statement, mentioning Josephus, the contemporary historian during Jesus' time. He argues also that the Jews have made the mistake in claiming Bar Kochba as the Messiah, even though he was not. If rabbis can be wrong about him, could it be that they are also wrong about Jesus?
