This is the initial conclusion of my discussion of why "literal" is an inaccurate word to be used in reference to Bible translation. Accuracy does not have to do with replicating the form of the Greek. "Literal" has to do with meaning, the authorial intent. So an accurate translation is one that replicates the author's intent, not the form of his words. I will be doing many screencasts to illustrate the point, so stay tuned.
