Millsaps hosted a celebration on what would have been around Paul Ramsey's 100th birthday on December 2, 2013 with speakers Special Assistant to the President, Kenneth Townsend, and national ethicists Stanley Hauerwas, Cathleen Kaveny, and Jeffrey Stout. Ramsey graduated from Millsaps in 1935 and spent 40 years as a professor of religion and ethics at Princeton University.
