Paper Précis:
Prof Frank explored the often-overlooked connection between the atonement and Pentecost. He argued that the cross of Christ is not limited to Israel but is intended to offer redemption to all people, as seen in Revelation 5:9 and Ephesians 2:14-16. The paper emphasised that Pentecost represents the outpouring of the Spirit on all nations, in loyalty to the cross, and for the glory of the crucified and risen Christ. Prof Frank highlighted how this connection underscores the inclusive and redemptive mission of Christ across all peoples.
