In this episode I am joined by Dr Michael S. Northcott, who is a Professor Emeritus of Ethics at New College, University of Edinburgh, and is also an Anglican Priest. He has written many papers and books on ecological ethics and religion including The Environment and Christian Ethics, An Angel directs the Storm, and his most recent book: God and Gaia: Science, Religion, and Ethics on a Living Planet. We discuss the causes of the environmental crisis, and we engage non-mainstream critiques of modern environmentalism.
