Have you ever walked up to a conversation and quickly realized everyone was sharing ideas that contradicted your faith? Maybe in the conversation someone even made a hostile comment about the Christian faith. Most of us experience moments like this on a regular basis, whether at the office, in the neighborhood or at family events and we ask ourselves, “How does Jesus want me to engage?” The answer to this question can be difficult, especially when we experience a sense of hostility or indifference. Dr. Darrell Bock, author of Cultural Intelligence, will be visiting with us about what it looks like to engage with our culture in a uniquely Christian way.
