About the Speaker: Stephen G. Dempster is Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Crandall University in New Brunswick, Canada. He served the university for 37 years, including a decade as the Stuart E. Murray Chair of Religious Studies. Dempster holds multiple advanced degrees in theology and biblical studies, including a Ph.D. in Classical Hebrew Language and Literature from the University of Toronto. He is best known for his influential book Dominion and Dynasty (IVP Academic), which explores the narrative and theological unity of the Hebrew Bible.
