David Bentley Hart - Sunday of the Last Judgment

The Orthodox Christian Studies Center of Fordham University is pleased to present the 2026 Orthodox Scholars Preach series, featuring short sermons by leading Orthodox scholars for Triodion and Lent.

The sermon for the Sunday of the Last Judgment is given by Dr. David Bentley Hart.

Dr. Hart is an Orthodox theologian and author of more than a twenty books in several genres. Some of his major works include The Experience of God: Being, Consciousness, Bliss; That All Shall Be Saved: Heaven, Hell, and Universal Salvation; Roland In Moonlight; All Things Are Full of Gods; and Prisms, Veils: A Book of Fables. His critical translation of the New Testament appeared from Yale in 2017.
